Campbell River fishing is great!

We had a calm afternoon on Friday Dec 14,flat water and sunshine!
I started fishing around noon off Willow point in 200 ft of water.I decided to run achovies behind flashers @ 160 and 180 feet.The first chinook was on and in the cooler in the first ten minutes!
The fishing was great all afternoon with many fish landed,we kept 4 nice chinooks from 10 to 14 pounds...
I fished down at the Bates beach area last weekend with good results also,its nice to see all these feeder chinooks around and a bigger than average size for this time of year!
