We are based in between the Comox Valley and Campbell River. This location gives us the fastest access to the best fishing grounds, when compared to departing from downtown Comox or Campbell River. This means less time travelling and more time fishing!
Having one of the largest fishing charter boats in the area lets us fish all the best locations in the Salish Sea from Desolation Sound to Lund and Powell River. And from Campbell River down to Comox and Hornby and Denman Islands!
You will love the calm waters and beautiful scenery and wildlife of the Northern Salish Sea. 
The areas we fish can produce great catch of Salmon and bottom fish. You will see wonderful wildlife such as
Sea Lions, Seals, Porpoises, Dolphins, Killer Whales,
​Humpback Whales and many seabirds.

OWNER/GUIDE

Hi, I'm Shane Evans, owner and operator of Crabby's Fishing Charters.  I've been chasing and catching fish all over the Vancouver Island waters since I can remember.  I was born and raised on a fisheries research boat for the first six years of my life, learning how to swim and fish before I could walk.  During high school I went commercial fishing for salmon and tuna during the summers. Upon graduating I went straight to work on a commercial dive boat on the west coast and continued my summers commercial salmon and tuna fishing. I have been sport guiding the waters of Vancouver Island for twenty years.  I look forward to sharing my experiences and knowledge of the ocean with new and returning guests.
