Campbell River / Comox fishing report

6/17/2013

It's mid June and the fish are here in big numbers!
The salmon fishing is hot for chinook from 10-30 pounds, there is lots of coho in the 5 pound range with a good number of hatchery fish to keep!
The fishing is great from Campbell River down to Kitty Coleman across to Grants reef. Its good to see many mix stocks of fish, out of a limit of 4 chinook on Saturday we had a white, marble and red flesh.

All gear seems to be working for these fish, but the Clendon Stewart in chrome and Kermit Coyote spoons have worked well for the last couple weeks for me!
