Chinook fishing around Campbell river is starting to pick up with some better size and numbers coming in.Early morning or a few hours before dark fishing the flood tide and high slack seem to be the best.Small anchovies behind a flasher or without a flasher have been producing along with 3.5-4 inch chrome/green spoons. Shelter pt out in 200ft,down to Salmon pt have been the spots. Sentrey Shoals has also produced some chinook the last few days along with many small coho. Crabbing is good but still a few soft shell to pick through. Prawn fishing is hit or miss, last week we spent a day out pulling traps, some sets were good and some not so good... Comments are closed.
