We are based in between the Comox Valley and Campbell River, minutes from the fishing grounds. You will love the calm waters and beautiful scenery and wildlife of the Northern Strait of Georgia. We also offer multi-day trips to Tofino on the west coast.
The areas we fish can produce great catches of Salmon and Halibut, prawns and crab. You will see wonderful wildlife such as Sea Lions, Seals, Porpoises, Dolphins, Orcas, and many seabirds.

My name is Chris Steinbach, owner & operator of Crabby's Fishing Charters.
Over the past thirty years I fished the saltwater around the B.C coast both commercially and sportsfishing for salmon and halibut.
I started working in remote fishing resorts when on summer breaks from high school, and have enjoyed guiding my guest into some of the best fishing B.C. has had to offer.
Now I call the Comox Valley home. The calm waters and great salmon fishing here make it a great place live, work and play!
I have equipped myself with the best boat and gear available for my guests. I also provide halibut and salmon trips to Tofino, Ucluelet and Nootka sound for the people looking for a "westcoast" fishing adventure.
